Coach's Field Responsibility

First Game of the Day:
Arrive to ballpark 1 hour before 1st game of the day.Retrieve chalk machine, and string from equipment box. Remove bases and plug receptacle with base plug .Rake and repair 1st, 2nd and 3rd base wear areas. Drag Infield using drag techniques and patterns as shared in meetings. Replace bases. Rake pitchers mound and home plate. Repair if needed.Chalk batters box and dirt infield foul line. Do not chalk grass. Nail string into ground behind back point of home plate. Keep string outside the base and inline w/foul pole.Repaint Foul Arc (4U, 6U, 8U only). Clean dugouts, stands, and surrounding areas. (Should be cleaned already from last game/practice)Replace equipment to designated areas.

In Between Each Game:
Coaches to enter each field immediately after last out of previous game. Remove bases and plug receptacle with base plug. Drag each infield.Rake and repair home plate and pitchers mound.Re-chalk batters box and dirt foul lines.

Last Game of the Day:
Remove bases and plug receptacle with base plug. Rake and repair 1st, 2nd and 3rd base wear areas. Drag Infield using drag techniques and patterns as shared in meetings. Place bases in equipment box. Rake pitchers mound and home plate. Clean dugouts and stands.

After Each Practice:
Remove bases and plug receptacle with base plug. Rake and repair 1st, 2nd and 3rd base wear areas. Drag Infield using drag techniques and patterns as shared in meetings. Place bases in equipment box. Rake pitchers mound and home plate. Clean dugouts and stands.
